Morrissey announces that Gustavo Manzur (piano) has fallen ill.
There is a light that never goes out...except for tonight. The sold-out Morrissey show at the Boulder Theater was over before it began on Monday, November 14, 2016, when keyboardist Gustavo Manzur fell ill, collapsing backstage, and had to be taken to the hospital. Morrissey took the stage to share that news with the audience, who waited another thirty minutes to see if the show might go on. The show was subsequently cancelled with refunds available at point of purchase. Tickets were $75. In a statement, the band apologized for any inconvenience and said it hopes to have a rescheduled date soon. No word yet on Manzur's condition. All photos by Brandon Marshall.
