This year’s lineup of spooky spectacles is bigger and better than ever. There are plenty of scares, from family-friendly frights at Boo at the Zoo to full-fledged scream-fests at the 13th Floor haunted house, where you can explore new themes such as Crimson Night and Macabre. Feeling artsy? Meow Wolf’s Cosmic Howl promises an immersive experience in which even the walls might give you a jump scare. For those who prefer their frights with a mountain view, the Telluride Horror Show is back for more high-altitude horrors.
