The Denver Botanic Gardens opens its cache today to Colorado gardeners. It's a Fall Plant and Bulb Sale to beat any other, with tried-and-true bulb varieties that have been tended by master gardeners. And those experts will be on hand or should we say thumb? to give advice for the autumn months. The sale, which takes place in the Morrison Horticultural Demonstration Center, opens at 8 a.m. for a members-only shopping hour (10 percent discount included), then to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; admission is free. Regular admission fees apply for entry into the main gardens, 1005 York Street. For more information, call 720-865-3500.
