River Bar & Gallery

River, which is located in the former home of the notorious Welcome Inn, is unlike any other bar in Denver. Part art gallery, it often hosts tents with artist pop-ups out front, as well as food trucks and vendors perched around the building. Inside, you can get down on the dance floor, listen to live music, play a game of checkers, sit on a couch and ponder life with coffee or beer in hand, or wander around and check out the rotating art.
