RISE Comedy (formerly Voodoo Comedy Playhouse), which opened in 2011, bills itself as Denver’s only improv comedy bar and theater. The venue, which has a full bar stocked with local brews, boasts a variety of original improv and sketch comedy five nights a week and offers classes in improv and standup. In addition to comedy, RISE also hosts occasional karaoke nights.
