Last December, we published a post headlined HIGH RENT IN DENVER: WHAT $1,000 A MONTH WILL GET YOU.
Less than a year later, unfortunately, the piece is out of date.
Rent costs have continued rising through 2015, as many of our readers have noted.
But the variety of prices is wide, as evidenced by an interesting experiment conducted by 9News.
The station asked Facebook followers in the metro area to share the amount they’re paying for rent and created a map with the crowd-sourced results.
We randomly chose 25 examples documented below and discovered fees ranging from $435 per month for a fifth-wheel trailer near Sloan’s Lake to a two-bedroom in LoHi going for a whopping $2,450.
But perhaps most eye-popping of all were apartment rents in the downtown Denver area — including $1,100 for a 360 square foot studio.
