    We are seeking a smart, driven, and energetic individual looking for a career in media sales. The media industry is in an exciting state of change and Westword is growing exponentially. As such, we need a highly ambitious sales person with a desire to exceed sales goals and grow with us. We pride ourselves on leading the industry in ad performance, technology and, most of all, customer results.

    This person will be responsible for growing advertising revenues through the consultative sale of both print and digital solutions including newspaper, specialty publications, digital display, SEO, PPC, paid media, social media, mobile, programmatic, IP targeting, e-mail, mobile advertising, website development and local services with a primary responsibility of acquiring new clients. We continue to launch new products and initiatives so opportunities abound.

    We offer a competitive salary with uncapped commissions, additional bonus incentives and career growth opportunities. You can expect to make between $50K - $70K your first year. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, paid time off, company paid holidays and a 401(k). We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Event Programming Manager with a strong focus on restaurant outreach to lead our programming initiatives and drive the success of our events. This role offers an incredible opportunity for additional commission-based earnings as you build partnerships with restaurants and collaborate on unique experiences.

    Job Summary:

    As the Event Programming Manager with a focus on restaurant outreach, your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain relationships with restaurants, chefs, and culinary partners. You will work closely with these partners to curate engaging and content-rich events and promotions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Restaurant Partnerships: Identify, reach out to, and establish partnerships with restaurants, chefs, and culinary experts for participation in signature events & ongoing promotions. Your commission will be directly tied to the revenue generated through these partnerships.

    • Event Conceptualization: Collaborate with restaurant partners to develop new event concepts that drive sales and elevate the event experience.

    • Budget Management: Negotiate and manage programming budgets for each event, ensuring maximum returns for both the restaurant partners and the organization.

    • Event Coordination: Oversee the logistical aspects of restaurants activations at signature events & ongoing promotions.

    Qualifications:

  • Account Manager

    Denver | Account Management
    Denver Westword / V Digital Services is seeking an energetic, outgoing individual for an Account Manager who is willing to go the extra mile toward ensuring client success! In this support role, you will be a key contributor to the sales organization by positively impacting client services and client retention.

    As an Account Manager, you will…

    • Be a key point of contact for clients and internal fulfillment team

    • Build and maintain solid, trusting relationships for long—term client success

    • Communicate regularly with clients on the performance of their campaigns

    • Demonstrate understanding of traditional and digital media and effectively communicate knowledge with clients

    • Participate in monthly progression calls with clients and the fulfillment team.

    • Review the results and make suggestions to improve campaigns as needed with the internal fulfillment team

    • Traffic ads for print & digital advertising campaigns; keep up with moving deadlines.

    • Assist in campaign implementation, including ad creative design, pixel implementation, and setting up the proper conversion tracking

    • Draft copy for advertisements (print & digital), event listings, contests & promotions.

    • Deliver campaign ideas to graphic designers for advertisement creation.

    • Prepare sales presentations and proposals.

    • Produce reporting bi—monthly reports, end of—campaign recap reports and accommodate reporting requests.

    • Book new and incremental buys with the internal team and, set up deadlines/schedules for clients

    • Work with the internal business department on client invoicing/payment schedules

    • Work closely with the sales rep on buys, upcoming events/issues, and fulfillment of buys.

    • Help with any client needs quickly and efficiently

    • This is an extremely fast—paced environment with daily deadlines. The successful candidate will need to learn the role quickly and will be able to thrive under pressure.


    REQUIREMENTS:




    • 2 years of digital sales or account management experience

    • Knowledge of Organic SEO, Local SEO, basic web analytics

    • Knowledge of Paid Media (PPC, GDN, YouTube & Programmatic) and success metrics

    • Knowledge of social media platforms, and social analytics

    • Highly organized, above average attention to detail, and strong analytical skills

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Superior time management skills

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines

    • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint required and Google Sheets
